Bio: 

Louisville Magic Field Hockey is eager to announce the addition of Jamie Wright to the staff! Jamie, former standout from CAL High School and Longwood University, will offer an amazing perspective to the players as she began her field hockey career here in Louisville. Jamie has proven to be an offensive weapon at every level and we are excited for her to share those finishing skills with our Magic players.

• Academic All-MAC team member & Academic All-MAC honors

• Four-year letterwinner Christian Academy of Louisville

• Part of the schools’ best four-year stretch in program history with a 72-18-4 record

• Named to Junior & Senior All-Star Games

• Played in four consecutive state tournaments, three straight semifinals

• Scored 51 goals and added 51 assists across her four seasons

• IFHCK 3 Year RCC Champion and 4 Year NCC selection

Jamie’s experience as a Louisville homegrown player who went on to compete and thrive at D1 College level will bring a valuable perspective to our players. I was fortunate to work closely with Jamie during her IFHCK team’s 3-year RCC championship run. Jamie developed as a versatile player through her club years playing midfield and striker; I recall Jamie as a true competitor who always had a nose for the goal combined with a strong goal scoring skill set. At Longwood University she was a valued member of the squad playing striker and contributing largely on their attacking end. I’m eager to welcome Jamie back to the Louisville club scene and look forward to watching her share her passion with our players in the city where her career began.”
