New York Native, Former USA WMNT, Louisville Field Hockey Alumna, & Hudson Valley Club Alum

Erin McCrudden is a New York native and was a multi-sport athlete until deciding on D1 Field Hockey at the University of Louisville (2013-2016). After facing many challenges in her early years at UofL, she ended with an incredible senior year, being named Co-Captain and leading the ACC in assists (2nd in the NCAA). In her final season, she picked up numerous accolades: D1 All-American, All-ACC Conference Team, and All-ACC Academic Team.
Most notably, she was the first player in program history to make the US Women’s National Team.
Days after graduating with her BS in Exercise Science from the University of Louisville, she earned her first cap as a member of Team USA against Ireland. She earned a spot on the World League 4 Roster and scored the game winning goal against China. She went on to compete in multiple series, notably making the game-tying stroke to help her team clinch a win against Belgium.
Erin went on to become a member of the Mop Dames 1 team at Hockey Club MOP in Vught, Netherlands and acted as the head coach to their U-16 girls’ team, while assisting with U-14 boys and keeper training.
Although she’s never quite turned in her players jersey, Erin has passed on her excellent playing career to the athletes she’s worked with over the years. She is humbled to say that many of the players she has worked with have gone on to play at the next level, becomi
